Wedding Dress Dreams
Making bridal gowns for a living is really such torture when all you have every dreamed of in life if to get married. Especially when you are hardly even close!
There is only one dress I want to get married in, and I said it before - it's Dita Von Teese's Vivienne Westwood wedding dress in white:
Its what dreams are made of!
I recently came across a photo of her toile in Vogue and I nearly fainted from its beauty.
Could there be a more perfect dress!? Its amazing!!!! I would not mind getting married in her fitting toile!
Let it be known that I would die to be in that room filled with Westwood toiles. Oh Vivienne I adore you!
Daydream daydream daydream.

Pecha Kucha Night # 4, Dec 1 @ Shangri-La Mall
I am more than happy to be a part of Pecha Kucha # 4 this Wednesday.

PechaKucha Night was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public.
It has turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world, inspiring creatives worldwide. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of "chit chat", it rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. It's a format that makes presentations concise, and keeps things moving at a rapid pace.

House Arrest Break for Ely XL & Marie's birthday party
So I broke house arrest yesterday to go to Ely Buendia's XL birthday concert at Republic.
I decided to go at 730pm, and cocktails were at 6, so I literally went in the dress I was wearing at work all day and over accessorized to make up for it. My hat gave me an asthma attack later that night.
After went to Marie's birthday party.
Ely declared it his after party as well.
He had the funniest dinner plate that I had to take a photo of him and his plate.
So this is what rockstars eat.
My only picture of the birthday girl blowing her candle.
I had to take a photo of Erwin's bliss upon hearing This Charming Man

Thank you Ely for the invite to the gig and Marie for the awesome party :) I wish I could have stayed longer.

Pina Gayon
So I had a little group show for Pina Gayon last night and I thought I would share some of the images from that night:
I drew out my line up for my own reference and stuck it on the mirror HAHAHA
how third world of me. lol.
(there were proper photos but i wanted a mini copy haha)
Me and the interns in the sea of VW Melissa shoes
My muse Divine and her boy Victor in the back
Love the CdG LV bag!
outfit post: top and shoes by Vivienne Westwood, bang bang headbang by me, skirt from Primark
And some of the show looks (sorry I suck at photos!)
Suso kung suso!!!
Lots of people asked about the shoes - i didn't make them! They were Melissa shoes, my number one fave brand to work with at shows (not to mention to wear -- i own so many pairs and i cant stop buying!) These were the shoes we used:
Magkaribal. hahaha
I thought it was so cute that the models were sitting and resting. aww they looked liked children haha
Me and my muse! Divine and I go way back from college, she modeled for my first show ever when my label was called Paranoid and I made these really awful clubwear outfits which the models were required to buy! hahaha! Cringe! Yan ang tunay na kaibigan!
Preview team! Daryl, Pauline and Andre. So chica!
Camwhoring with the interns post show.
Thanks to Divine for being my muse, to Josh to inviting me to be part of it, and to everyone who came!

Bring back that girl band feeling
Whoaaaa that girl band feeling..
I found my old laptop and resurrected old photos and started to listen to my playlist circa 2004 during the Death By Tampon days -- read X Ray Spex, Bikini Kill, Le Tigre, Sleater Kinney -- and got COMPLETELY sentimental about the old girl band.
Remember, the outfits were from a time when I only wore plastic jewelry and monster shoes. Forgive me, I was a child!
How we had loads of fights over everything and anything.
How my bandmates were on tv telling the network to fuck themselves while i was on big brother.
How a certain drummer vomited all over a certain actors floor at his birthday party we all decided to crash post gig.
How we said we would never sell out (therefore never getting signed because we refused to write anything 'radio friendly' aka pop songs they could play on the pop stations)
How I was obsessed with the band uniform that Laurie hated, and how Goldie would just wear it to keep the peace.
You have to admit those were fun times.
Listen to our live recordings at www.myspace.com/deathbytampon.
I've forgotten about Le Cheetah and now am listening to that song non stop. LOL!
