i-D & Alberto Guardiani - Shoe Design Competition

i-D is proud to announce the official launch of the international footwear competition with the Italian shoemakers, Alberto Guardiani.

In an open call, i-D will be accepting submissions of shoe designs from the 22^nd September – 11^th November. The ten most innovative shoe designs will be presented to a prestigious panel of industry superstars including i-D’s Editor in Chief -Terry Jones, Anna Dello Russo, Georgina Goodman, Sarah from Colette, Rubina - one of the Guardiani daughters, and Andrew Keith - president of Hong Kong’s premium department store, Lane Crawford.  The judges will invite 3 finalists to present their creations during an event at 10 Corso Como during Milan Fashion week, February 2012 and the winner will receive a cash prize of £5,000 and see their shoe become part of the Alberto Guardiani autumn/winter 12 collection, sold within the brand’s stores as well as key retail partners, Corso Como and Colette.

Mich Dulce SS 2012 Preview at No-One, London

I haven't blogged in ages due to the making and preparing of my new collection, so its only fitting that my first blog post in what seems like years is the preview event i had last night in Shoreditch.
